Contacting the Author This page is designed to provide information on Douglas Candland for those interested in his work, areas of competence, and availability. In recent times, most television and radio work has been concerned with (1) feral children and (2) animal psychology, especially the history of its study, endangered species, and the animal mind. I am not competent to comment on domesticated animals. I do radio and TV, most recently programs for the BBC, one a full-length documentary on a possible feral child raised by monkeys, this filmed in Uganda, and three long interviews filmed on a college campus about the monkey mind. An additional film short was shown on CBS Evening News and Good Morning America. Recent television filmings include the French Artes "Les Compagnie des Taxi-Brousse" and Russian State television "Science and Insight" (2004, 2005), National Geographic, Feral Children, (2007).
